The ecoTEC exclusive is their top-of-the-range combi boiler and is one of the best boilers on the market, not just in the ecoTEC range. it has a high flow rate and can cope with high hot water demand, even as a combi boiler. We’ll also give you an idea of how much a new boiler costs along the way.
Vaillant ecoTEC Exclusive Green IQ review
The ecoTEC Exclusive Green IQ is one of the best high-performance, high-efficiency combi boilers in the UK. This combi boiler is powerful yet super energy efficient due to being able to modulate down to as little as 10% capacity when required.
It has a special heat exchanger which ensures that this boiler runs at the highest efficiency possible even when tasked with heating large homes and providing hot water to multiple taps, showers or other outlets.

This is the smaller of the two in the ecoTEC exclusive combi boiler range but it is by no means any less capable. In any other range, this would be the best model, and with flow rates of 14.5 litres per minute, this combi boiler is more than capable in larger properties.
Clearly, this isn’t going to be a compact boiler so you do require a reasonable space to put this boiler in but it is very quiet so if it is installed near living space then you will barely know it is there. You can get a 10-year warranty with this boiler also for years of hassle-free heating.

This is the most powerful combi boiler that Vaillant makes, so the ecoTEC Exclusive 843 is a powerhouse of a boiler that is perfect for larger properties. With a high flow rate to taps and showers of 17.8 litres per minute, this combi is designed for high hot water demand to multiple outlets.
Energy efficiency is also key with this boiler as it can run at 10% capacity to save you a fortune on gas and electricity when the full power of the boiler isn’t required.
Designed with a unique heat exchanger that offers some of the most energy-efficient heating capabilities in the UK, this boiler is also capable of running on any type of gas required. The Vaillant ecoTEC combi boiler range is fantastic as it offers you a wide range of choices on different-sized boilers and outputs. With regards to performance and reliability, they come out very well but these do come at a price.
The entry ecoTEC Pro boiler range boiler prices start where some of the other boiler manufacturers’ mid-range boilers finish, such as the Worcester 4000 or Viessmann Vitodens 050-w which are over £200 less with better warranties and better technology such as built-in Wifi. They are also more compact too if you require to install your new boiler in a kitchen cupboard. You can get Vaillant boilers on finance too if you want to spread the cost of your boiler and pay monthly for it.
Vaillant ecoTEC combi boilers – Powerful and energy efficient for larger homes
On the other hand, if you are looking for high-performance boilers with lots of power then these combi boilers are high on the list. With some of the highest flow rates possible from combi boilers, if you can afford the price tag of one of the more powerful boilers then we think they are one of the best options out there.
With a great warranty, Vaillant boilers are some of the best on the market but are a little bit more expensive than most and you will struggle to get a boiler for under £1,000 without installation.
