The standard warranty for a Viessmann boiler is a parts and labour warranty however to keep your warranty valid you must make every effort to maintain it. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any damage that occurs during the warranty period and you can be sure that your new Viessmann boilers come with a manufacturer-backed warranty, regardless of which model you choose.
What is covered by the Standard Viessmann Boiler Warranty
You are covered for any electrical or mechanical breakdown that may occur due to defective materials or workmanship under the standard Viessmann boiler warranty. Viessmann will repair or replace your boiler free-of-charge if there is a problem during the warranty period.
Viessmann cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to repairs or maintenance performed by unlicensed engineers. Viessmann’s boiler warranty does NOT cover components that might need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear.
The Warranty Period for the Viessmann Boiler
The warranty duration depends on the model of Viessmann boiler you purchased. The standard Viessmann boiler warranties are between 2 and 5 years. However, you may be eligible for an extended warranty if your boiler is installed by a Viessmann-trained installer who has been registered through the Viessmann Installationer Portal.

Viessmann Boiler Warranty Terms & Conditions
It doesn’t matter how long your Viessmann boiler warranty is, it’s a good idea that you are familiar with the terms of the warranty. While some exclusions and conditions are obvious, others might surprise you. This is why it’s important to read the fine print.

- You must register your boiler with Viessmann within the first 30 days after installation to be eligible for a Viessmann warranty.
- Only the Benchmark commissioning sheets and/or Viessmann logbooks are valid for warranty purposes. For verification, the Benchmark logbook and/or commissioning sheet must be also available.
- Every year, the Viessmann boiler should be serviced annually by a Viessmann Trained Installerr or another Gas Safe registered servicing firm.
- Without Viessmann’s prior approval, the warranty will be voided if the boiler is moved or removed from its original location.
- The warranty is subject to the proper installation, commissioning, and maintenance procedures being performed in accordance with the instructions. It must also be used only for the purpose it was intended for.
- Within 12 months from the date of manufacture, the boiler must be in commission and installed.
How to register your Viessmann Boiler Warranty
You will need to complete a form to register your Viessmann boiler guarantee. This form can be found on Viessmann’s website. Viessmann will mail you a confirmation letter once the form has been processed. This will inform you that your warranty is now active.
The warranty will be registered via the Viessmann Installer portal if you are offered the opportunity to extend the warranty by Viessmann Trained Installers and you accept.
