Firstly we have reviewed the Greenstar 4000 combi boiler rather than the system boiler because they are the most common boiler in the UK.
This boiler is replacing the legendary Greenstar i series which has been in production for over 10 years from Worcester and as many people know, the old Greenstar i is renowned for reliability and longevity.
So its replacement needs to be better, and well, it is.

In all seriousness, though, Worcesters, we see or hear of very few complaints from Worcester Bosch owners, and if looked after with its obligatory yearly Worcester boiler service then you should have years of hassle-free heating.
There are currently supply issues (Winter 2022) due to electrical component shortages, so this could be a sticking point if this breaks in a 4000 boiler, as you may be waiting a while for the part.
Whilst missing parts arent as such a reliability issue, it would be nice to know that if anything did go wrong your boiler would be getting fixed.
Luckily, Worcester customer service is up there with the best.
Worcester Bosch 4000 Boilers Prices – 8/10

It’s not the cheapest boiler you can buy, but it’s priced accordingly for the market it is aimed at.

The Worcester 2000 is also cheaper but lacks an extended warranty, although it is slightly more compact if you are looking for something a little bit smaller.

If this boiler is that good it should get the market-leading 12 years warranty that is on offer for boilers.
You can only get the full 10 years if you upgrade and pay a little bit more for your boiler.
It’s a bit sneaky, although we think it’s worth it if you buy this boiler.
Worcester 4000 Reviews Overall Score 8.5/10
8.5 is a pretty good score, if it was slightly cheaper it would be a 9, but then we are quibbling over around £50-£100, depending on where you buy. But, the money is always better in your pocket than theirs!

Worcester 4000 Problems – Common issues if your boiler is not working
The Worcester 4000 is a brand new boiler. Other than supply issues due to parts not being available, we haven’t encountered too many issues or boiler breakdowns yet.
The most common problems with the Worcester 4000 will be problems that you have with every other boiler, such as low water pressure, which can happen over time or your condensate pipe being blocked, which is usually due to freezing.
If you have a Worcester Bosch blue light flashing, this may be the cause, among other issues.
These are easily fixed by topping up the water pressure and defrosting your condensate pipe. If this is not the problem and you need a new boiler, get your boiler quotes now.
Worcester 4000 Supply issues due to electrical component shortages
If you have been told that there may be a supply issue or the Worcester 4000 is not in stock, this is true because there is a shortage of electrical components that are required for the Greenstar 4000 boiler.
