This policy addresses discrimination based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and/or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, as outlined in the Equality Act 2010.
Easy Boilers, operated by MR Home Improvement Ltd, recognizes the distinction between physical sex, gender assigned at birth, and an individual’s gender identity/expression. Hence, this policy also covers discrimination based on a person’s gender identity.

Easy Boilers expects all members of its staff and the broader community to treat others fairly, with dignity and respect. Individuals who believe they have faced discrimination, harassment, or bullying have the right to make a complaint free from victimisation or fear of retaliation. Refer to staff and candidate policies for the appropriate procedure to follow.

Responsibilities
Everyone associated with Easy Boilers is accountable for promoting EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion). The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring full policy implementation. The Director of People & Culture oversees the implementation of Easy Boilers’ strategy concerning equality, diversity, and inclusion for staff. Alongside the Executive team, they also manage MR Home Improvements content and operational activity related to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Implementation, Monitoring, and Review
This policy will be executed through an Equality and Diversity Committee, with progress regularly reported to the Executive Management Team. The impact will be assessed by monitoring, including:
- The People & Culture director collects and analyses staff monitoring data annually.
- The Quality and Standards Department coordinating the collection and analysis of candidate monitoring data.
- The Marketing Team establishes and maintains measures to align MR Home Improvements content with the policy provisions.
The Policy will undergo regular reviews to incorporate best practices and current legislation.
Training
All staff are obligated to partake in EDI training relevant to their roles, with new staff undergoing EDI training as part of their induction.
